On the 25th of March, two representatives from Layer8 attended their first ever Hull Business Expo at Princes Quay shopping centre, just minutes away from the company’s HQ at the Hull Marina.
The Hull Business Expo is an annual event hosted by The Business Culture HEY, designed to support local businesses in promoting their products and services whilst also building valuable connections, generating leads and expanding their client base.
Layer8 were one of 100+ businesses to attend the expo, giving the team the opportunity to showcase how Layer8 can help local businesses strengthen their IT infrastructure, security and digital operations through tailored MSP solutions.
With over thirty years of experience delivering specialist IT solutions across Hull and East Riding, including Beverley, Willerby, Hessle, Kingswood and Hedon, Layer8 is a well-established business in the area, with the Hull Business Expo providing a platform to highlight their expertise and connect with local businesses seeking a trusted IT solutions partner.
The team had the chance to discuss the day-to-day IT challenges local businesses face and explore how Layer8 could support them with tailored IT solutions, allowing them to better understand the needs of businesses across the city.
During the expo, the Layer8 team promoted their free IT health checks, a new initiative that provides businesses with the opportunity to gain an in-depth insight into their cybersecurity systems, identifying which areas may be open to cyberattacks.
The health checks generated a lot of interest throughout the day, with several businesses signing up on the spot to gain a closer look at their digital systems and security setups. Each participant who signed up will receive a detailed report outlining any potential issues, along with advice on how to improve their security measures.
The event proved to be a big success for the team, and they look forward to returning next year to continue connecting with and supporting other local businesses.
